The project is developing two different strategies approaching the topic of public space at the periphery. At the level of the urban quarter, the existing but often hidden qualities are enhanced through interpretations and minimal interventions. By these means public space becomes revaluated. The housing project itself reacts in its configuration to the insularity of the periphery.

Because of its site and scale a clear spatial defintion is necessary to create (semi)public space. In the daily experience of the residents these two approaches merge and form individual cityscapes.
